Shanghai has called off the color run and other running events that use colorful powders, in the wake of a tragic dust explosion that killed one and injured more than 500 people at a party in Taiwan's New Taipei city, on June 27.
6月27日台湾新北市"彩虹趴"发生粉尘爆炸,造成1人死亡,500余人受伤.之后,上海叫停了"彩色跑"以及其它使用彩色粉末的跑步比赛.
"彩色跑"（color run）的灵感来自迪士尼的彩色世界、涂鸦派对（graffiti party）、泥浆路跑（mud run）,以及西红柿大赛在内的世界各地的节庆,旨在宣传健康、快乐、大众参与的跑步理念,被称为地球上最欢乐的5公里（ the Happiest 5km on the Planet）.
日前,台湾发生粉尘爆炸（dust explosion）,彩色跑所使用的玉米粉（corn starch）,对人无害,但其属于爆炸性混合物（explosive mixture）,达到一定条件后易引起爆炸.安全的做法是尽量将玉米粉喷洒在人身上.
两年前,"彩色跑"被引进至中国,喷撒彩粉（spray colorful powders）的类似赛事遍地开花,但此类赛事的安全管理（security management）并不完善.因此专家指出,主办方应对粉尘易燃的潜在危害有足够的风控预估,做好相关措施.
