10月25日是西班牙画家毕加索诞辰130周年纪念日。在这一天，毕加索的作品第一次大规模走出巴黎的毕加索美术馆，漂洋过海来到中国.

The 25th of October marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. On this day, it is the first time that the biggest-ever exhibition of Picasso's works from the National Picasso Museum in Paris is making its debut in mainland China.

The 2011 Picasso China Exhibition displays Picasso's paintings and photographs that reveal his aesthetic stance and personal life.

展厅内全部62件大师真迹囊括了毕加索从14岁到90岁，8个创作时期的作品，参观者可一睹其在不同绘画阶段的代表性作品。其中多幅传世名作诸如《赤足女孩》、《雕塑家》、《坐红色扶手椅的女子》等都是稀世珍品.

The 62 works exhibited in Shanghai span all periods of Picasso's long career, from a painting when he was just 14 to one completed when he was 90, characterizing each notable artistic period of his eight-decade career. Among the classics are "The Barefooted Girl", "Le Sculpteur" and "Nude Woman in A Red Armchair" .
