National Theatre of China

National Theatre of China is a drama performing arts organization established under the merger of the prestigious national-level China Youth Art Theatre and the Experimental Theatre of China on December 25, 2001, with strong artistic creation resources and glorious historical heritages. Old generations of representative artists such as Ouyang Yuqian, Liao Chengzhi, Wu Xue, Shu Qiang, Jin Shan and Sun Weishi lay a solid foundation for its evolution and development.

At present, National Theatre of China brings together the most outstanding drama artists and drama managers, and shapes up powerful artistic creation and management teams, who dedicate to outstanding work and win almost all national-level awards in the field of drama. National Theatre of China adheres to the original repertoires as the backbone, passionately interprets the quality works of contemporary playwrights, follows the traditions, and takes advantage of great strength to roll out three drama brand series: serious drama series, comedy series and vanguard experimental series. It always sets foot on classical traditions, demonstrates humanistic charms of drama culture, and seeks to take a lead in new trend of the current drama creation with new experimental exploration.

By means of more colorful stage interpretations, steady definite aesthetic pursuit and modern scientific philosophy, the open-minded National Theatre of China will carry forward to the spirit of predecessors, mobilize all walks of life, form "Aircraft Carrier" of Chinese drama community, and build into a domestically-reputed and internationally-renowned drama performing arts group, and undertake the social responsibility of "Top One Drama Organization of the PRC".

Synopsis

They talk about the war in 1941, that rainy night in Copenhagen in September, the ski race in Norway, nuclear reactors of Nazi Germany, the atomic bomb being developed by the Allies. They talk about quantum, particles, uranium fission and the uncertainty principle, and also piano music of Beethoven and Bach. They talk about the right to do everything for the motherland during the war and the scattered corpses in the city after the bomb dropping...

They talk about everything, but the most they would like to talk about is the riddle meeting of the Nobel Prize winners, Werner Heisenberg and Niles Bohr, in Copenhagen in 1941 influencing the world physics process.

They continue to talk about the truth of the meeting, but the result is still uncertain.
