Each year music lovers around the world eagerly await the Grammy Awards. But for a long time, China has felt a little left out of the celebrations. Well, all that is about to change.

At a news conference last week it was announced that nine Grammy Award winners, will come to China to play an official Grammy concert in June. This will be the first time the event has come to "meet" Chinese audiences.

The event is tipped to be a great opportunity for Chinese music fans to enjoy a first-class musical feast, and also for the musicians to learn more about Chinese musical styles. Stars to look forward to include Leo Sayer and Michael Bolton, along with Chinese superstars Song Zuying and Cai Guoqing.

The concert will also host some rare video performances from late music legends Michael Jackson and Whitney Huston. The concert is set to rock Chengdu, in China's Southwest, on June 8. Definitely something to look forward to!
