(ECNS) -- Hebei's first domestically developed long-endurance heavy-lift unmanned transport aircraft, "Baoyun", completed its maiden flight at Taocheng Airport in Hengshui, north China's Hebei Province on Tuesday.

With a wingspan of 9 meters, a height of 1.45 meters, and a self-weight of 155 kilograms, Baoyun is equipped with an 80-horsepower four-stroke gasoline engine and boasts a payload capacity of 200 kilograms, and a maximum flight duration of 26 hours.

The aircraft features a large payload capacity, long endurance, multi-purpose functionality, and high reliability. It is widely used in China's unmanned transport, emergency rescue, flood control, and disaster relief, as well as forest firefighting.

In recent years, Hengshui City has established an industrial system centered around Taocheng Airport, covering nine key sectors, including aviation manufacturing, cultural tourism, and research-based learning. (by Li Yan)
