Comicomment: Immediate action needed to protect our blue ocean

(ECNS)-- World Oceans Day falls on Saturday, featuring the theme "Awaken New Depths". The ocean, the cradle of marine life, holds humanity's collective responsibility for protection. Yet, Japan recently completed its sixth round of discharging nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean. Comparable to a monstrous force, this discharged wastewater is consuming the pristine blue and marine ecosystems, endangering the ocean.
