Comicomment: America's double standards fuel fire in the Middle East

(ECNS)-- The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on Friday in support of the Palestinian bid for full UN membership. Nevertheless, the U.S., which previously voted against the Palestinian request at the Security Council on April 18, continues to be the primary obstacle. Despite proclaiming itself a "beacon of human rights," the U.S. has consistently rejected the just demands of the Palestinian people. What the Middle East needs are peace doves, not war hawks hiding behind a facade of peace.
