(ECNS) -- The G7 summit in Hiroshima has concluded and the joint statement carries a strong sense of hegemony. This organization, which claims about "promoting a peaceful, stable, and prosperous world," should focus on addressing its own problems and actively contribute to world peace and development. However, it engages in activities that hinder international peace, undermine regional stability, and suppress the development of other countries, making it a tool for certain countries to disrupt the international security order.
However, the U.S.-manipulated G7 cannot conceal the deep rift. Its member countries have different agendas and pursue their own interests. As the host and rotating chair of the G7, Japan unquestionably follows the lead of the United States, holding a megaphone to seek attention and causing resentment in the international community. Germany, France, and other countries remain vigilant against the United States' attempt to rally G7 members to create trouble for China, and they are unwilling to follow the United States' call for decoupling and advocate for European strategic autonomy. Meanwhile, Italian Prime Minister Meloni left the summit early due to the need to address domestic flood disasters.
The topics discussed at the G7 summit lacked appeal for the member countries themselves, and the superficial unity cannot conceal their internal divisions. It can be seen that those who insist on going against the tide of world peace and development, provoking conflicts and confrontations in the international arena, will inevitably decline in the long run.
