(ECNS) - The State Administration of Taxation has announced 10 measures to facilitate the business environment including a unified electronic tax across the country by the end of this year.
Among the 10 new moves, the administration promises to streamline taxation through the further application of the Internet. By the end of 2018, the standardized, nationwide electronic tax system will offer comprehensive functions and more convenient services.
The online system will be linked to corporate financial software to facilitate tax declarations and reporting in more efficient ways. Taxpaying companies will find it much easier and faster to update information or pay tax online, said Fu Shulin, an official with the administration.
It has designated 12 more regions including Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Xiamen and Qingdao in the second batch for pilot taxation reforms amid efforts to enhance the business environment.
