(ECNS) -- The Wi-Fi coverage available on Beijing-Shanghai bullet trains will be expanded to all of China's high-speed trains in the future, said China Railways Corporation's deputy general manager Huang Min.

Huang made the remarks on Sunday at the 19th PKU Guanghua New Year Forum.

Chinese railways have made huge progress in passenger experience, Huang said. Online ticket-booking, WeChat payments and online food-ordering have become accessible. Facial recognition has also been piloted at some railway stations in Beijing, Guangzhou and Lanzhou, he added.

CRC is pushing forward with corporate reform and the plan has been submitted to the Ministry of Finance.
