(ECNS) -- Hainan Airlines, China's fourth-largest carrier, has put on hold its flights from Beijing to Brussels following the serial terrorist attacks in the Belgian capital.

Flight Hu492, scheduled to leave Beijing at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, has been delayed with the departure time undetermined.

The airline's flights to Brussels from March 23 to April 5 are all marked as "to be determined."

Hainan Airlines also said in a statement that passengers who had already bought air tickets during the period can change their routes for free.

Terrorist attacks on the international airport and subway system in Brussels killed at least 34 people and wounded 180 others on Tuesday. European governments moved swiftly to beef up security.
