(ECNS) -- Beijing's traffic authority is mulling regulations that would curb bad driving behavior on the city's road, according to the Jinghua Times.
The Beijing Municipal Committee of Transportation surveyed 55,000 Beijingers about the worst traffic behavior. The four most unpopular actions were commuters not lining up for buses, drivers not signaling when turning, cars parking in travel lanes, and pedestrians not using crosswalks or underground passages.
Wei Aimin, a local legislator and lawyer, said uncivilized behavior by drivers and pedestrians is a big threat to road safety and Beijing will try to change these behaviors through education and exposing them on television.
