(ECNS) -- Hong Kong police have nabbed a suspect after a massive hunt for the kidnappers of Queenie Law, the granddaughter of Bossini founder Law Ting Pong.

City police chief Lo Wai-chung said the suspect was caught at Luohu port, a major link to Shenzhen.

Officials are working closely with mainland counterparts to apprehend other suspects, Lo added.

Helicopters have also been used to search areas near a village in Sha Tau Kok, a town in Hong Kong's northeastern New Territories.

Six men broke into the home of the 29-year-old Hong Kong woman on April 25 and took off with 2 million HKD in cash and goods as well as the victim herself. She was released later, unhurt, after her family paid the kidnappers 28 million HKD demanded in ransom.
