(ECNS) -- Wedding photographs of a Tibetan couple, in sharply contrasting styles ranging from iconic Tibetan costumes around temples to vogue dresses in a coffee bar, have become an Internet sensation, with page views hitting 100,000 four hours after release.

Tibetan Kalsang Phuntsok, 31, was born in Danba county of Ganzi Tibet autonomous prefecture in Southwest China's Sichuan province. He graduated from the Beijing-based Minzu University of China in 2009 and now runs a company in the province's capital Chengdu.

His wife Dawa Dolma comes from a rural family in Barkam county of Aba Tibet autonomous prefecture, also in Sichuan province. A music graduate from a normal school, she now runs an online store selling handmade ornaments and accessories.

But neither are models despite their sudden popularity.

The photos were taken at different times against different backdrops, including temples, grasslands and an overseas destination.
