(ECNS) -- Changchun city in Northeast China's Jilin province leads the list of cities with the longest commuting times, while Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen failed to make the top 10, according to a survey conducted by China Central Television (CCTV).
The study also shows the income expectations of Chinese families in 2015 are lower than that in the past three years.
Compared with people living in large- and medium-sized cities, respondents in counties and county-level equivalents show higher confidence in their income growth.
Citizens are currently most satisfied by the ongoing anti-corruption campaign, followed by the banning of the private use of government vehicles, and by improvements in government efficiency.
What people expect most in future are higher incomes, a narrower wealth gap and strengthened social security.
The survey also found that in the past year, 40 percent of residents felt happy.
