(ECNS) - Passengers on a train couldn't find their carriages at all and even came under suspicion when the seat numbers printed on their tickets were nowhere to be found, the Beijing News reported on Sunday.

Tang Xiaodan and her friends ordered the tickets from 12306.cn, the official online railway ticketing website in China. The tickets showed that they had booked hard-sleepers in the 13th and 14th carriages of the K1316 train from Fuzhou to Luoyang on Jan 3, 2015.

But upon boarding the train, they couldn't find their carriages and were stopped by conductors who suspected the tickets were fake. Train personnel finally settled the confused passengers in the 11th and 12th carriages.

Fuzhou railway authorities explained that some carriages of the K1316 train had temporarily been removed due to emergencies.

Because the tickets were already sold, the passengers were rearranged to other carriages, according to the authorities.
