(ECNS) – If you're ready to use a facial recognition system to pay your way in shops or restaurants, think again.

Sun Zhenan, a researcher with the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), under the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), said no cost-effective solutions are available to improve accuracy and credibility.
