(ECNS) -- "Typing" with her eyes, Gong Xunhui, who has Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), took ten months to finish her autobiography "Struggle with Illness," according to the Chengdu Commercial Daily.

Gong, 61, has suffered from ALS for 12 years and can only move her head.

Her dream of selling a book and using the money to buy breathing machines for other ALS patients has touched and impressed many netizens.

To fulfill her goal, she has also registered a microblog. It is so difficult for her to type that it took her almost 20 minutes to finish her first blog of 140 characters. Her autobiography is 120,000 characters long.
