Changsha (ECNS) -- People in Changsha will soon have the opportunity to see an original painting by Pablo Picasso.
To mark the 50th anniversary of Sino-French relations, the France Ant Linton Museum has handpicked 24 paintings by 22 influential European artists of the 20th century to exhibit in the Chinese cities of Changsha, Kunming and Wuhan.
The paintings include Pablo Picasso's "Portrait of a Sitting Woman" and original pieces by other avant-garde artists such as Auguste Rodin, Jean Dubuffet, Father of Op Art Victor Vasarely and Cubist representative Fernand Leger.
The 24 paintings, with a time span of nearly a century, will together present a grand picture of the evolution of European avant-garde art.
Visitors to Changsha's Tan Guobing Museum of Contemporary Arts can see the paintings for free from September 29 to November 5.
