(ECNS) – A 433-square-meter ultra-luxury home in Hong Kong will be Asia's most expensive house per square meter if a buyer matches the sky-high price, HK$819 million ($105.67 million), the Southern Metropolitan Daily said.

Situated in the city's affluent Peak district, the house, priced at $243,565 per square meter, has a 416-square-meter park, a swimming pool and an exclusive location on Victoria Peak, the central mountain on Hong Kong island that offers spectacular views over the city.

The house, with 12 others, belongs to a project developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties. The cheapest one among them is priced at HK$393.4 million ($50.75 million)

The company's deputy managing director said the date for the public sale is not set yet, but it won't be too long.

Once sold, the house will be the most expensive one per square meter not only in Hong Kong, but also in Asia, the report said.

A professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University said prices for luxury homes haven't dropped, despite Hong Kong's efforts to curb skyrocketing prices.

Centaline Property Agency said the ultra-luxury home would attract buyers from the mainland.
