(ECNS) – Two teenagers in cosplay costumes wandering through a park in Mengjin county of Henan province were mistaken for terrorists, and were caught by police.

Local police got a tip on Aug 2 that two people in black robes and hoods, suspected of being terrorists, were wandering in Nanling Park, with sickles in hand. Officers soon arrived at the park, and fired a warning shot as they were holding "dangerous weapons".

Later "the terrorists" were confirmed as being just teenage cosplayers.

As they are still underage, they got away from the five-day detainment for disturbing public order.
