(ECNS) -- The Malaysia Panda Exhibition Hall in Kuala Lumpur is well prepared to welcome a pair of giant pandas from China scheduled to arrive Wednesday, bcc.com reported on Monday.

The construction of the "luxurious villa for pandas" began in April last year with an investment of 25 million ringgit ($7.8 million). The hall covers an area of 1.6 acres and features a nursery, an X-ray room, panda bedrooms, a veterinary clinic, monitoring rooms, a laboratory and a kitchen.

The exhibition hall also has cafes, waiting rooms and souvenir shops for visitors.

The hall plans to welcome 3,000 to 4,000 visitors a day, with each visitor limited to 30 minutes.
