(ECNS) – A Nightingale Club exclusively for male nurses was set up on Sunday at Central Hospital of Wuhan in Central China's Hubei province, the local Changjiang Daily News reported.
The club has 98 members, all of whom are male nurses at the hospital.
Fu Adan, director of nursing at the hospital, said the club was intended to attract more men to go into nursing and help them become better at their jobs.
Central Hospital has 118 male nurses, all of them serving in demanding departments, such as operating rooms, emergency departments, dialysis rooms, and intensive care units.
