Young woman sells three sons in five years

(ECNS) – A young woman in Hengnan county of Hunan province has been captured by police for selling three of her biological sons in five years, the Xiaoxiang Morning Herald reported.

The woman surnamed Wang gave birth to six babies from 2008 to 2012.

The police were tipped off by father of the woman's boyfriend surnamed Zhang last February for "repeatedly selling their own kids".

They sold their second son at 6,000 yuan (about $1,000) in 2008, and the third son at 20,000 yuan in 2009. The fifth son born in September 2012 was sold for 10,000 yuan three months later.

Zhang was sentenced to prison in September and Wang was put under house surveillance because she was pregnant.

Eventually Wang fled, and wasn't heard of until Feb 20, when Sichuan media reported that she had been captured at an internet bar in Guangyuan, Sichuan.

Two of the kids the couple sold have been rescued by police, leaving one missing.
