(ECNS)-- Three little "monks" are attracting attention on a street in front of a Buddhist temple in Chengdu, Sichuan province, West China Metropolis Daily reported on Monday.
The boys were found posing for photos with tourists near a Buddhist temple in the city's Qingyang district on Sunday.
Dressed in grey priestly frocks, the three little boys were popular with tourists, who swarmed to take group photos with them.
"The three boys are brothers, and two of them are twins," said their mother, surnamed Wang.
The oldest brother is 6, and the two younger ones are only 4, the mother said.
The three are in a kindergarten program for Chinese studies, and their frocks are made by lay Buddhists.
They are learning Chinese etiquette in the program, and they wear the frocks only when in class.
"I brought them here to play and have vegetarian meals," said the mother, who added that she didn't mind tourists taking photos with her sons.
