(ECNS) -- A primary school in Beijing has introduced seven special classes for boys designed to increase their masculinity, the Beijing News reports.

Chen Lihua, head of the Beijing Chaoyang Experimental Primary School, said many boys are showing worrying signs of weakness. They include not speaking up in class, complaining about small injuries, and being bullied by girls.

The school has opened seven special classes for boys, including football, basketball and climbing, as well as classes in computers, electrical circuitry and robots.

Wrestling, rugby and other combat sports are also planned, Chen said.
