(ECNS) -- A road accident victim in the United States posted a photo of his bruised face on Facebook, complaining about female Chinese American drivers using WeChat while driving, the World Journal (US) reported.

"Luka," of Monterey Park, California, was hit by a Chinese American woman who was sending voice messages via WeChat while driving. Out of anger, Luka posted a photo of his bloody face full of bruises on Facebook, along with the message, "ATTENTION CHINESE FEMALE DRIVER:No WeChat when driving in Monterey Park," which got more than 40 comments criticizing Chinese drivers.

Miss Zeng in the city said she was unhappy about the post, but admitted that she saw many Chinese doing that.

Miss Wang in Glendale said she was fined $165 for distracted driving while she was talking with friends on WeChat with her right hand off the wheel.

WeChat is experiencing explosive growth both at home and abroad, less than three years after being launched.

In Monterey Park, 47.7 percent of residents are of Chinese descent, the largest concentration of Chinese Americans of any city in the United States.
