(ECNS) – Actor Johnny Galecki, one of the stars of highest-rated comedy "The Big Bang Theory," arrived in Beijing on Thursday for an interview with Sohu.

Galecki is widely known in China as the character "Leonard Hofstadter" he plays in the comedy.

Galecki said in the interview that his personality is quite different from Leonard's: "We only share some common ground in pursuing happiness." Galecki added that he hadn't expected the popularity of the show.

Galecki planned to visit the Imperial Palace and the Great Wall during his Beijing tour. "I'm interested in Oriental culture, and I want to experience its charm."

He also said he will produce another TV series.
