(ECNS) – A yellow and white cat that crashed a lecture on quantum research at the University of Science and Technology of China has been dubbed "Schrödinger's cat," according to Anhuinews.com.
The lecture was being given on Tuesday by professor Pan Jianwei, an expert in the field of quantum mechanics.
The cat stepped up to the rostrum and appeared ready to give its own speech, causing a stir in the audience.
"Schrödinger's cat" refers to a famous illustration of the superposition principle of quantum theory, proposed by Erwin Schrödinger in 1935.
