(ECNS)-- Taiwan's famous miniature master Chen Forng-shean has created the world's smallest horse sculpture to embrace the Chinese lunar year of the horse, according to a local media report in Taiwan.
Carved out of white resin, the horse sculpture can stand on a pencil's lead tip, measuring only 0.2 centimeters in diameter.
Chen said he spent six months creating the sculpture, which is 0.18 cm high, 0.14 cm long and 0.05 cm wide.
"If my hand shakes a little bit, the work would break down," Chen added.
The work can only be seen clearly with the help of a magnifying glass.
Chen has used rice, sand, thread, dental floss, ant heads and fly wings to do other miniature sculptures, which are a hallmark of high-end ancient Chinese art.
