(ECNS) -- A female netizen from Wuhan, central China's Hubei province, posted a picture of her luxury bags, attracting thousands of views and comments, the local Chutian Metropolis Daily reported.
"Danfei" displays 26 designer bags in the picture, including Lady Dior, Chanel 2.55, Prada Saffiano, and Gucci. "If these bags are authentic, they should be worth around 200,000 yuan ($32,780)," a fashion buyer said.
The post has received over 15 pages of comments. Danfei responded that some of the bags were gifts from her parents, and most were bought overseas.
She is fond of fashion bags just as people love buying clothes or gold, and she hopes netizens look at her with goodwill, Danfei added.
Xiao Jinsong, an associate professor of psychology at Central South Hospital, said Danfei's behavior can be easily recognized as a show of wealth, regardless of her original intention.
It's OK to display luxury goods bought with one.s lawful income, but showing off wealth can cause some people to hate the rich, Xiao added.
