果农种出元宝造型柚子 造型讨喜可保存半年

据台湾TVBS网站报道，过去曾有果农把西瓜种成四方型，现在有果农则是把柚子做成金元宝造型。彰化一名果农花了3年时间研究，成功把柚子做成金元宝造型，上面还有浮凸字体，写着招财进宝4个大字，不但可以保存半年，柚子还会发出淡淡的香气，一颗就能卖到800元。[查看全文]

(ECNS) -- A fruit grower in Changhua, Taiwan has successfully cultivated pomelo fruit shaped like sycees, a type of gold or silver ingot used as currency in China until the 20th century, according to tvbs.com.cn.

The fruit grower surnamed Xie has spent three years cultivating the pomelos, which are also embossed with lucky characters.

The ingot-shaped pomelos can keep for three to six months and sell for NT$800 (US$27), nearly ten times the price of ordinary pomelos.

Some Taiwan businessmen have already contacted Xie, hoping to purchase all the pomelos in advance.
