(ECNS) -- At Zhongshanmen subway station in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, the same sad love song has been heard for the past three years, as a heartbroken staffer always plays it when he is on duty, according to jschina.com.cn.
Some people complained online that they felt sick at hearing the love song, Haoxin Fenshou (Kindness of Breaking Up), sung by Candy Lo and Leehom Wang, which can be heard over and over at Zhongshanmen Station.
A male staffer said that one of his colleagues broke up with his girlfriend three years ago and has been trying to get over it by listening to the song. For the last three years, he's been playing it when he's at work, the staffer said, adding that he hoped the heartbroken colleague can cheer up soon.
A passenger surnamed Ma said the song was always playing, as he heard it on his way to and from work. He said passengers would not miss hearing the song, and may become depressed, so such sad songs should be avoided.
The local subway company said all the stations play the same music during rush hour, but are free to play their own music the rest of the time.
