Shenzhen (ECNS) – Shenzhen Customs detained five smugglers from Hong Kong on Tuesday and seized 330 smuggled cellphones worth one million yuan (US$163,370).

Customs officers noticed a suspicious man at Shenzhen Bay Port. An inspection showed that he had 65 cellphones bound to his waist and legs.

Officers determined that the man was a member of a smuggling gang, then seized four accomplices who also had cellphones attached to their bodies.

The phones they carried are currently hot sellers on the market.
