(ECSN) -- To celebrate the upcoming Hungry Ghost Festival (the 14th or 15th of the seventh lunar month), Taiwan's Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit has employed some people to dress as zombies and take the trains, according to tvbs.com.tw.

The scary-looking "zombies" and "Western ghosts" would pop up on the platform, jump into carriages, and take the trip with passengers.

Some passengers were too scared to move, while some ventured to take pictures with the zombies and ghosts.

"I was scared by them at first, but soon I felt it was interesting. The zombies looked horrible, while the Western ghosts were not so frightening," a passenger said.

Kaohsiung MRT said it hopes passengers will experience an unforgettable journey on the trains.
