(ECNS) – Since 2011, altogether 37 winning invoices, each worth NT$10 million ($330,000), have expired, Taiwan Economic Daily News reported on Friday.
Thirteen winning invoices are still valid, the report said.
Two of the winning invoices can be claimed before Sept 5, and the invoices from 7-11 issued in May and June can be claimed for three months after Aug 6.
The top four chain convenience stores (7-11, Family, Hilife, OK) deliver over 2 billion invoices a year, accounting for almost 25 percent of the total invoices in Taiwan, according to Taiwan's financial department.
As the number of e-invoices surges, winning e-invoices also increases, it says.
