(ECNS) -- A memorial trail featuring locations in Hong Kong related to movie star Bruce Lee will kick off Saturday, as part of a series of events marking the 40th anniversary of his death.

"The Bruce Lee Way" will take tourists to six locations, including the Tai Kok Tsui school lavatory, where Lee's fighting skills were first recognized by a teacher.

The other five spots are the Ocean Terminal, La Salle Primary School, Tsing Shan Monastery, Tak Sun school, and the bronze statue of Bruce Lee at the Avenue Of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui.

"We use the word 'way' because we want to show, through the trail, how Hong Kong society nurtured Lee and eventually made him an international success," said Wong Yiu-keung, chairman of the Bruce Lee Club.

A second phase of the trail is being planned, Wong said, which could include more spots like the pier at Tai Tam, a location in the film "Enter The Dragon."

The club will hold an opening ceremony for the trail at the Avenue of Stars on Saturday.
