Shijiazhuang (CNS) -- The first traffic safety situational education center in Hebei province was established at a primary school in Shijiazhuang to help improve students' awareness of traffic safety and say no to "Chinese-style road crossing."

The center was designed to help students understand the necessity of observing traffic regulations from an early age, according to the Shijiazhuang traffic administration on Tuesday.

Pupils can get access to simulation programs that provide a training ground featuring a miniature urban traffic network.

By using role playing games, students can acquire traffic knowledge such as regulations and hand signals, which can help them develop good traffic habits.

"Chinese-style road crossing" refers to large crowds of people crossing the street, regardless of whether the light is green or red.
