中国藏学家代表团19日至22日访问英国，与英国研究机构进行学术交流，并看望了当地藏胞。
London (CNS) -- A delegation of Chinese Tibetologists visited the United Kingdom from May 19 to 22, during which they engaged in academic exchanges with British research institutions and met with local Tibetan compatriots.
At Cambridge University, the delegation exchanged views with experts and scholars at the Mongolia & Inner Asia Studies Unit on topics such as the history, culture and development of Tibet, as well as the preservation of Tibetan manuscripts, and visited the Tibetan manuscript library at the university.
Tibetan Academy of Social Science, TAR has established a number of partnership programs with the Mongolia & Inner Asia Studies Unit of Cambridge University.
In addition, English versions of some only copies extant on traditional Tibetology have been published in recent years, causing a splash in the field of Tibetology in the West, according to a member of the delegation who is an associate professor at Tibet University.
The delegation will now head to Ireland and Israel.
