医药保健类虚假广告屡禁不绝，8日，上海市工商局、通信管理局、卫生计生委等8个政府部门联合出手，启动虚假违法医药广告专项整治行动。
Shanghai (CNS) -- Shanghai launched a campaign on Wednesday to crack down on the spread of false and deceptive advertising in the city.
The campaign has been jointly launched by eight departments, including the Shanghai Industry and Commerce Bureau, the Shanghai Communication Administration, and the Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission.
The campaign targets false advertising of medical equipment, medicines and health care products, and will last until the end of July this year.
Various media including television stations, radio stations and newspapers will come under scrutiny in the campaign.
An expert group will also be set up to offer tech support, according to the Shanghai Industry and Commerce Bureau.
The bureau said it will also tighten supervision of credit evaluations for medical advertisements.
