Shenzhen (CNS) -- China's job market will continue to boom in the second quarter of this year, according to a survey released by human resource consulting firm ManpowerGroup on Tuesday.

Covering 4,203 businesses in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu, the survey was designed to determine the hiring intentions of businesses in the second quarter.

According to the survey, 21% of the sampled businesses said they would be willing to hire more employees in the period between April and June.

Investment in infrastructure construction around the country is boosting the growth of the job market, said Zhang Jinrong, deputy general manager of ManpowerGroup (China).

Zhang pointed out that China's economic recovery may provide a precious opportunity for businesses to transform their human resource development models.

He suggested that businesses should seize the opportunity to improve the work efficiency of their employees by reforming and improving training systems.
