Japanese car sales drop in 2013  

中国汽车市场需求较旺盛 日系车销售下降

记者11日从中国汽车工业协会获悉,今年前2月中国汽车产销表现总体好于同期。从前两个月的汽车产销态势看,今年中国汽车工业开局良好,汽车整体市场需求较为旺盛。而同期日系车销售有所下降。

Beijing (CNS) - Japanese car sales have declined in China's market in the first two months of 2013, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on Monday.

In January and February, Japanese car sales fell 17.1%, compared with the same period of last year, while German, American, South Korean and French car sales all saw positive growth. Among them, German, South Korean and French car sales all saw over 30% growth.

In the first two months, the market share for German, Japanese, American, South Korean and French cars in China were, respectively, 19.3%, 12.5%, 11.9%, 9.5% and 3.3%.

Meanwhile, Chinese brand passenger car sales reached 1.2 million cars in January and February, an increase of 20.8% over the previous year. China's auto production and sales were 3.3 million and 3.4 million cars in the two months, with year-on-year growth of 14.1% and 14.7%, respectively.
