Beijing (CNS) -- The National Library of China on Monday received donations including valuable oral history videos and books by Xie Juezai.

The China Yan'an Spirit Research Society donated videotapes containing interviews with people who knew Mao Anying, son of Chairman Mao Zedong, while he lived at an international children's home in Moscow.

The son of Xie Juezai, politician and president of the Supreme People's Court of China, donated many copies of the Dairies of Xie Juezai (1921), which describe the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai.

We plan to collect historical materials of great events and famous people, and to provide help for historic research, said Zhang Zhiqing, deputy director of the library.
