Beijing (CNS)-- Fung Ming-Chu, the director of the Taipei Palace Museum, arrived in Beijing on Monday to discuss cooperation on various projects with Beijing's Palace Museum.

Fung said she was here to borrow artifacts for a special exhibition called "The Artistic Taste of Emperor Qian Long," which is scheduled for October at the Taipei museum.

She said a plan to make the Taipei museum's collection accessible to mainlanders through digital displays will be discussed.

Both sides will also make plans for special exhibitions to mark the upcoming 90th founding anniversary of the Palace Museum in 2015, Fung added.
