Beijing (CNS) -- The China-made C919 large passenger airliner and the ARJ21-700 regional aircraft will conduct flight demonstrations and be displayed on the ground at an upcoming air show, the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) announced Wednesday.

The 9th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition will be held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, from November 13 to 18. COMAC, one of the organizers, will release the 2012-2013 Market Forecast Report and sign purchase orders for the C919.

The C919 is leading China's challenge to Boeing Co and Airbus SAS. It is due to make its first flight in 2014 and enter service a year later.
