55th APFF to be held in Macao

第55届亚太影展筹组委员会执行主席曾志伟24日在澳门宣布：“第55届亚太影展”将在澳门主办，澳门威尼斯人酒店成为今年亚太影展首席赞助商。

Macao (CNS) -- The 55th Asia Pacific Film Festival (APFF) themed "The New Starting Line" will be held in Macao from December 13 to 16, announced Eric Tsang, executive chairman of the festival's organizing committee, on Wednesday.

Macao is compact, but it is a good city with a successful entertainment industry, and I hope this session of the APFF will help promote it, added Tsang.

The festival has over 55 years of experience with Asian films, so I feel very happy that it is coming to Macao, said Nick Cheung, winner of Best Actor at the 53rd APFF.
