Hong Kong (CNS) -- An exhibit featuring nearly 100 photographs shot over the last decade opened Sunday at the sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck.

The photos, which depict daily life in places such as Taiwan, Beijing, Guizhou, Macao, Tibet and Shanghai, are the result of a program launched 10 years ago by the Hong Kong China Tourism Press and the China Times, a Taiwanese newspaper. Hundreds of photographers from all over China have participated in the program since its inception.

Tung Chee-hwa, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, said during the opening ceremony that the activity has made significant contributions to mutual understanding and exchange between artists and the masses.

The exhibit lasts until October 9.
