Hong Kong (CNS) – A wax figure of technology pioneer Steve Jobs will make its first global appearance in Hong Kong on September 27, according to Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

The figure depicts Jobs as he looked in a photograph taken for Fortune Magazine's front cover in 2006, in which he wears a black cotton pullover, a pair of jeans and trainers.

The team at Madame Tussauds have also replicated a pair of Lunor spectacles which were specially made for Jobs.

The figure, which marks the first anniversary of his death, cost HK$1.5 million and took three months of work.

It will stand at the Historical and National Heroes section of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong from September 27 to November 26 before travelling to Bangkok and then to Shanghai.
