Hainan tourism gets help from Taiwanese  

台湾游客成海南入境游市场强力支撑

据海南省人大财经委员会29日公布的2012年1至7月经济形势分析报告，1至7月海南入境旅游市场增幅明显趋缓，唯旅琼台湾游客一枝独秀同比增长97.73%至8.7万人次，成为海南入境旅游市场的强力支撑。

Haikou (CNS) – Increased direct flights between Hainan and Taiwan have helped boost tourism in Hainan, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hainan Province said Thursday.

The island province's tourist market slowed from January to July this year, yet tourists from Taiwan increased by 97.73 percent to 87,000, according to a report from the Hainan NPC Financial and Economic Committee.

Passengers have been able to travel directly between Taiwan and Sanya or Taiwan and Haikou every day since September last year.
