Mainland investors favor HK real estate   

陆资继续南下 香港豪宅卖到上海

虽然香港特区政府关闭了房产投资移民的大门，不过陆资南下仍在继续，香港依旧是内地投资客的首选。

Shanghai (CNS) -- At a show held Monday by Hong Kong-based Sino Group in Shanghai, mainland investors said Hong Kong is still an optimal housing market.

A couple who intends to invest in real estate discussed Hong Kong apartments: "If the lowest price for an apartment is six million yuan and the down payment is 20 percent, we need to provide two million yuan," Lei Yanyao said to her husband.

Most mainland investors prefer large buildings with mature communities, which are good for renting or selling, said Tian Zhaoyuan, general manager of Sino Group's property sales department.

Tian said buildings near international schools are also popular, as some investors plan to send their children to study in Hong Kong.
